David began his career as an agent with New York Life in June 1996 in Portland, Oregon. In 1998, he was appointed to Partner of the Arizona General Office and in 2002 David finished as one of the top 25 Partners in the Company.   In 2003, David was promoted to Managing Partner of the Southern Connecticut General Office.  In 2004, his office finished as the #2 office in the country based on overall ranking.  In 2005 it was #1 and in 2006, it was #16 out of 120 offices.  In April of 2007 he was promoted to Managing Partner of  the Orange Coast General Office and led the office to the 10th highest ranking in the country in 2007, 7th in 2008 and 11th in 2009.  In his first eight months as the Managing Partner, the office production and case rate increased by over 20 percent.  He was also the leading recruiter in the Pacific Zone as well as the entire company in 2008.  That year, the office was awarded the Recruiting and Management Development Awards for the Pacific Zone and three national trophies--the National Senior Vice President's Award of Excellence, the Life Case Rate, and the Investment Annuity Awards.  In 2009, David was the second Prior Class leader for the Pacific Zone.   That year, the office won the Life Case Rate trophy for Group 1 offices.  David is a member of the Partner's Round Table.  He and his wife Kelly enjoy spending their free time with their two boys, Zachary and Alexander.
